Anytime, anyplace

I absolutely love
the way she can turn
an ordinary errand
into fun.
Who would have thought
the post office
would be a good place
for hide-and-seek?

And the walk back to the car
was not just a walk,
but a dance.

Each day,
she has a way
of reminding me
of what life
is all about.

Beautiful

One thing about
the shorter days -
the sun sets at the lowest spot
on our horizon,
and we sometimes get
the most beautiful scenes.

This was just
a couple of days ago.
What a view!

Work first, then play

The best part of fall,
by far,
is this. . .

because it's not just work,

it's preparation. . .

for this!

Visitors, we love it!

Marc, Tomi, and
Finn
came to stay with us
for a couple of days
this week.
We hadn't seen them
in almost a year!
Finn has changed a lot.
Aren't they cute?
They got along pretty well
(for the most part.) :)
It was so fun to see those guys
and catch up on things.
We're excited for Thanksgiving
when we get to be together again!

Good morning, Winter.

The snow has arrived.

London looked outside this morning --
"It's snowy out there, Mom!
And it is beauuuutiful!"

Diamond

We were blessed
to be able to
be a part of
a very special celebration
for Grandpa and Grandma
Saturday night.

We enjoyed a lovely
and elegant candlelight dinner
with tables beatifully decorated
and delicious food.

After dinner,
Grandpa and Grandma
were presented with
a special gift.
Each one of their family members,
children, grandchildren,
and great-grandchildren,
had written a page for them
to go in a scrapbook.
Each was
filled with memories
and lessons learned
from two wonderful people.

Congratulations, you two!

Game time

Saturday,
Linds and Hank
hooked us up
with some tickets to the
BYU/CSU game.

All of us.
This was the kids' first real
football game.
They thoroughly enjoyed it.
Especially after we
bought popcorn.

But, where were Doug
and Hank, you ask?
Here.
Enjoying plush seats
and a prime rib buffet
with more food than they
knew how to eat.
(Is that possible?)
It was quite a game, if you didn't see it.
BYU pulled out a win
at the last minute.
Yahoo! We had a blast.
Thanks, guys!
