have a "feast" on
special occasions.
So today, we had
Slow-Cooked Country Ribs
for dinner. They were
delicious. If you'd like to
make them, here's how:
4 lbs. boneless beef country ribs
2/3 c. flour
2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 med. onion, chopped
1 T. crushed garlic
1 1/2 c. KC Masterpiece bbq sauce
2/3 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. ketchup
Combine flour, salt and pepper in a large ziplock bag and add ribs. Shake to coat. Brown ribs in 1/4 c. melted butter over med-high heat. Remove ribs and place in large slow-cooker. Reduce heat and in same pan, saute onion and garlic till onion is tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1-2 minutes. Pour over ribs. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or till meat is tender.
For dessert, we tried a
new recipe in the spirit
of fall - Pumpkin Pie Bars.

conference, don't you think?
Each time I listen,
I come away wanting to be better.
So many wise words of counsel.
How blessed we are!

How were the pumpkin bars? They look good! I am always looking for a fun pumpkin recipe so I will have to try them! Ribs look good too, but I pretty much don't eat much meat anymore, but I will try them for my family! I am sure they would like it!
