We awoke this morning
to find that our friend
Minnie
had gone the way
of all the earth.
It was a sad day for the kiddos,
who play with their friends
every spare minute of every day.
So, we softened the impact
a bit
by letting them go down to the pet store
and pick out a new friend for Daisy.
This is Bella.
Isn't she cute?The tail, I know.
But the kids already love her,
and we hope Daisy will like her, too.

So sorry to hear about Minnie. But, I'll look forward to meeting Bella. Pets are a great learning opportunity for kiddos---about responsibility, and about life.
